Is it just me...or does Nightfall support HDR??? By looking at the video it really looks like it, graphics look a ton better even in screenshots. If so thats really cool, and for those that dont like it..I'm sure they will let you chose just Bloom or turn it off completely. I know they did it in Oblivion like that...and many other games that use HDR. Half Life 2 Episode 1 you can as well.

Yeah it looks little bit like HDR effect there, but it could also just be the shaky camera picture effect.

That new log in - screen looks so beautiful n_n

Both videos indeed are from Leipzig, it's exactly the mission we played, too.

Actually, all the characters there are placeholders (most likely) and will probably be replaced by nightfall counterparts. It would kinda suck if you had henchies that looked like the ones from prophecies anyways.

Oh, and llsektorll, I'm a grammar nazi

are you sure? it may be like factions where the whole team travels to another part of the world to save it from utter disaster. Devona and Mhenlo were both in factions. We didn't have Orion but we did have Argo ^_^.

they already have pics of the new login if that is what you mean... and if you mean you want to see it implemented then all i can say is i hope it is soon.

P.S. the dervish party ally in the mission is probably the same female dervish charecter on the cover of the nightfall.

Hopefully you are a decent level when you leave and most of the game is designed for level 20 again.
I just hope there wont be express lvling to lvl 20 as it was in factions because that really sux. Its totaly unPvE like. It was much better in Prophecies with slower lvling where u can learn about your character and not like factions immidiate 20 lvl PvP like. I dont like fast lvling especialy if quests later r lame as they r now.

I like what they did with make up though.. just hope there will be more freedom of movement around the ladscape and not so manny preassigned paths and less linear... I hope gameplay will be as good as looks of it

I did say 'most likely', so there may be a few characters who stay like that. However, most of them (i.e Orion) are most likely placeholder characters, as I said.

But then again, I could be completely wrong.

Even with the film quality being as poor as it was, the graphics look stunning. Say what you will, but no one can say that Anet doesn't put out beautiful games.
